In an attempt to help schools raise much needed funds the Community Dept has introduced this year a sponsored penalty shootout. Children take five penalties against a Woking keeper or KC Kat and are sponsored by family and friends for the number of penalties they score. Any funds collected are split 50/50 with the school. Children are awarded prizes by the Community Dept depending on how much they raise. The child gaining the most sponsorship receives a signed Woking Shirt, Signed ball, goodie bag, ticket to a game and certificate. Schools that have so far benefited from this initiative are Hermitage £750, Broadmere £370 and West Byfleet Infants £450.
