Adam Newton
Started his football career in West Ham’s Academy, being part of their FA Youth Cup-winning side in 1999. Made three first team substitute appearances for the Hammers. Had loan spells at Portsmouth, Notts County and Leyton Orient before joining Peterborough United in May 2002. Notched up over 200 appearances for the Posh, gaining promotion, before signing for Brentford in summer 2008. Part of the Bees’ promotion-winning side in 2009, joining Luton Town that summer. Signed for the Cards in summer 2011 following release by Luton. Gained England U21 honours and also represented St Kitts and Nevis.
