5. Joe McNerney

Versatile, powerful young Academy graduate who has played in defence, midfield and as a striker but who is now established as a very promising central defender. Made his league debut at Altrincham on 21 February 2009. Had loan spells in 2009-10 at Corinthian Casuals and Ashford Town (Middx) and cemented his Kingfield first team place the following season with commanding displays, which won him the supporters’ ‘player of the year’ award.
