Club Chairman, David Taylor, has confirmed that he has received 29 applications for the vacant manager?s post. The deadline for applications was 30 April. ?I?m very pleased with the response?, he said. ?It?s a strong list. We will be interviewing short-listed candidates later this month or possibly into early June. We intend to announce our appointment in June, with the new manager starting on 1 July.?
David confirmed that Football Technical Director, Colin Lippiatt, who has been temporarily in charge following Frank Gray?s departure, is not among those who have applied.
