Woking FC are pleased to announce that Rob Elvins has signed on loan for the remainder of the season from Aldershot Town, subject to confirmation from the FA. Rob is a 22 year old 6? 2? striker who began his career with West Bromwich Albion and enjoyed loan periods with Cheltenham Town and York City. He signed for the Shots in June 2007 and made well over 30 appearances for them in their promotion season, scoring 11 times. He has played 14 times for 2 goals in the current campaign. Phil Gilchrist told us that Rob had trained with the squad today, had looked good and settled in well.
