After the game, I asked Phil if that was a reasonable point gained or two lost. He felt it was both ! ?It was a reasonable point before the game but when you get to 15 minutes to go and we had Joel?s header and a couple of other chances, you think we may just score and win the game. We didn?t so itwas a reasonable point gained and two lost !? I said that the crowd had been hopeful of a winner. ?The crowd were magnificent today. I thought the response of the crowd to the players at the end was brilliant and the players appreciate it. The players need as much as they can possibly get from the crowd. I think in the last four games the performances and results have been better and I hope the fans appreciate it. ?

I had spoken to Neil Lyne before the game and he had reminded me that we only had three players starting today who had begun the game at Wrexham, only a fairly short time ago. ?I?ve said all along that eventually my team will come. It?s just been that way this season for a number of reasons but I think it?s no coincidence that results and performances are improving. It?s a squad game, however, and other players will come back in ? we still have a lot of injuries ? and obviously we were missing Micah today. Patto and Oli hadn?t played in the centre together before and they?re both attacking players. It took them a bit of time to get used to it but they got used to it in the end."

I asked Phil to look forward. "It?s good to have a week before the next game. The boys can relax a little in the first half of the week and hopefully we'll get some of the injured players back for next Saturday.? Finally, I asked for Phil?s views on Alex Rhodes?s debut. ?We didn?t get the ball to him enough firs thalf but he did well second half when he looked a good attacking threat and I?m sure will be a useful player for us?

I also spoke to MOTM Danny Knowles. Danny also thought it was one point gained and two lost ! ?You don?t want to drop points and do want to keep picking points up but I think that if we?d played the first half the way we played the second, we?d have won the game.? Was Danny happy with his own performance ?

?Yes, happy. The goal took a deflection and wrongfooted me. It?s disappointing as I don?t like letting goals in but a point?s a point and at this stage of the season we needed it. There were some other results that were good for us and hopefully we can take that, push on and start winning games.? I asked Danny how he?d settled in at Woking. ?Easily. I came in on the Monday, played at Stevenage on the Tuesday and it?s been good. I know what the manager wants of me so I?ve settled in quickly and it was never going to be a problem.? Danny wanted to recognise the help the team have given him in games. ?There?s always going to be chances coming at you and you can?t really go through a game without giving the opposition an opportunity and we hope that when they come along I end up saving them. Hopefully I can keep doing it and keep improving.?

Many thanks to Phil and Danny.
