The Cards went down 2-0 to second-from-bottom Northwich Victoria this evening, conceding a goal in each half, both from set pieces.
A very disappointing night was compounded by draws for fellow relegation candidates Barrow, York, Altrincham and Forest Green Rovers. The results leave the Cards third from bottom, with 40 points from 42 games, with York having 41 points from 40 games and Weymouth, with 42 points from 40 games, in the two places immediately above them.
The Cards? next game is at Forest Green Rovers this Saturday.
