WFC Statement by David Taylor

As you may know it was my intention to resign as Chairman as soon as the shareholders were in a position to elect a new board.

That process is now taking longer than anticipated, and there are urgent additional actions that need to be driven forward.

In the light of these, along with the need for new blood, my reducing available time and ongoing health pressures, I have decided to stand down as Chairman with immediate effect.

I pledge myself to the service of the club, the fans and the board in whatever capacity I can most be of help.

The board have asked Shahid Azeem to be Chairman of the club and lead the club through to the new structure, and elections.
