Woking Reserves put up another promising showing in a competitive pre-season friendly as they prepare for the Suburban League season ahead.

The match was hard fought and tight but Woking prevailed through two quality goals. In the first half Gavin Miller scored with a superb 25 yard drive into the top right-hand corner. In the second period a well-flighted Will Hammond free-kick was met by Ola Sogdanmu who headed into the bottom left hand corner.

The joint Woking ‘men of the match’ were goalkeeper Matt Pegler and Aaron Gough.

The first Suburban League home game is on Tuesday 18th August v Molesey. Kick off is at 7.30pm and entrance charges are £4 and £2 concessions.
