I spoke briefly to MOTM Luke Medley about the game. I suggested it must be strange to get the champagne after a game we’d lost. He agreed and said that it took some of the feeling away. “It would have been good to get a win out of the game. Conceding another penalty was unfortunate but we had enough chances to kill the game in the first half and a few in the second so we need to put our chances away really. “ I wondered why Graham had kept the players out on the pitch for a very long time . “I guess we need it to keep the season going. We’re a young team and everyone’s been brought together for a new season. It’ll take a bit of time to gel but I think we’ll get there, hopefully soon rather than later.”
