The Reserves were not at the races on Saturday (or maybe psychologically they were). A distinct lack of collective resolve and determination from this Woking squad tamely gifted this game to a Welling side who showed much more desire to win the game.

In mitigation, with the exception of Luke Medley, this was a squad consisting entirely of Academy youngsters, whilst Welling appeared to have a number of older genuine 1st team squad players in their number.
