There has been much speculation in the press about Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and the club, even extending to Wikipedia's extraordinary "Hasselbaink made a playing return in late 2009 for non-league Blue Square South side Woking".

The facts are that discreet discussions took place with Jimmy around him training with the club. Nothing more or less than that.

Unfortunately this was leaked, and inevitably expanded on.
