FA Youth Cup action tonight

Brian Caffarey - 21st October 2009

FA Youth Cup action tonight The Youth side travel to Ashford Town (Middx) this (Wednesday) evening in a crucial FA Youth Cup tie. The winners of tonight’s game will go on to host Dagenham and Redbridge in the First Round Proper.

The Youth side has performed superbly so far in three successive away ties to dispose of Worthing, Tooting and Mitcham and Molesey. The side contains three players who’ve already made their first team debuts: Matt Pegler, Anson Cousins and Ola Sogbanmu (the scorer of two memorable goals in the Cards’ 5-1 defeat of Hythe Town in the recent FA Cup replay). But there are many other very promising players in the side, including Ola’s strike partner, Ollie Palmer, and central defender Aaron Gough.

The side would really value your support this evening, so please go along to Short Lane if you can. Kick-off is at 7.45pm and admission is only £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.

The following directions are courtesy of Ashford Town’s website:
