I spoke very briefly to Graham Baker earlier this afternoon for a quick update for Saturday’s game.

News of the two new loan signings is in the previous news item.

Graham confirmed that, subject to anything occurring between now and Saturday, he expects to have the full squad (barring those on loan) to choose from. He expects to start with the same eleven as last Saturday, with the two new loan signings on the bench.

As regards the pitch, Graham explained that the problem has arisen from the Surrey FA Youth game last Sunday, which was played in very poor conditions. In his view, that game should not have gone ahead then and he fears that, in certain areas, the pitch won’t now recover for the rest of the season.
