Saturday's matchday programme

We’ve got another packed matchday programme tomorrow, including an ‘end of season’ interview with Club Chairman, Shahid Azeem (pictured).

Some of the highlights are:

Pages 7-8 – Shahid Azeem sets out his views on the season so far and provides an update on the long-running discussions with Kingfield owner, Chris Ingram:

“Chris, understandably, wants to ensure that his position as owner of the ground is watertight – in case, for example, someone came along and was interested in buying him out – whilst we’ve been seeking flexibility to exploit the ground’s assets on behalf of the Club. There was bound to be tension between those two objectives. The good news, though, is that I honestly think that we are almost there.

Page 16 – Tom Barnardo, in salutary fashion, recalls our defeat at Hayes Lane back in October

Page 21 – Lewis Hulatt profiles promising young keeper, Matt Pegler, and finds him full of praise for the support he’s been given at Woking;

“..Trevor Porter (goalkeeping coach) has been incredible and I appreciate his time and effort, especially having received none at Aldershot in my spell there. It’s good at Woking and I have enjoyed working with Ross and learning from him game by game."Pages 24-25 – centre-page photo of Matt, with space for an autograph

Page 29 – The Ranter is back, but is in humorous mood, finding plenty of bizarre stories in the world of football

Pages 36-37 - KC Kat is getting very excited about our play-off prospects but finds time to do some internet searching and comes up with some amusing look-alikes

Page 42 – Dennis North updates us on our honours-chasing Reserves and Academy sides

And, of course, the rest of the programme is packed full with all the usual reports, previews, statistics and great photos.

Support the Club and buy a copy! Only £2.50. You can order a copy from the Club Shop if you can’t make it to the game.
