Peter Sheppard has decided to stand down as Director of Finance. Having been in post for a year he is now fully aware that the increasing demands of this key position are not compatible with those of his full-time job. Peter is a real gentleman who has been a great friend to the Club as well as a long-time supporter. The Chairman, on behalf of the Club would like to warmly thank him for all his very positive input and within the Club we all look forward to working with him in a slightly different capacity in the future.
The Board of Directors of Woking FC are delighted to be able to announce that James Aughterson, who was the previous Finance Director, is able to step back into this key role and help the Club to steer a way through at a time when the wider financial world is uniquely unstable thus representing significant challenges to all.
