WOKING Football Club have agreed a deal with the Woking News and Mail which will help the football club spread the word about events both on and off the field.

Advertisements will be placed on the back page of the Woking News and Mail and Woking Review between now and the end of the football season in exchange for the newspaper recieving advertising on the family stand at the Kingfield Stadium. The stand will also be now known as the News and Mail Stand.

Commercial Manager Dave Riche said: "We have a good relationship with the press in the area, and when I approached the News and Mail with the idea they were delighted to accept and also help spread their profile around the ground."
"We recieve prime advertising every week in both of their paid for and free papers and it helps to boost the profile of the football club and also the events we are hosting at the facilities.
"The advertising has been in place for a few weeks now and we have already seen people book functions at the club on the back of seeing the advertisements."

Commercial Manager Dave Riche and News and Mail Sports Editor Clive Youlton shake hands on the deal.
