The show on Thursday March 10th has a cracking line-up. The show features an amazing bill of award-winning comics. Scheduled to appear are:

HENNING WEHN

A London-based German comedian, Wehn has been performing as the self-styled 'German Comedy Ambassador' since 2003. He was a regular on the Channel 4 show FAQ U in 2005, as well as Radio 5 Live sporting panel show Fighting Talk.
He regularly appears with fellow German performer Otto Kuhnle, and their show 1000 Years Of German Humour was nominated for the Barry Award at the 2009 Melbourne Comedy Festival.

His "beautifully crafted diatribes" (Time Out) are delivered with a passion that seems all too real and his material covers topics from football to the price of second-hand shoes, what the Germans think of our beloved 'Allo 'Allo series, to why humour is overrated and stand-up comedy pointless.

"Who said Germans have no sense of humour? Gloriously unreconstructed comedy" - THE GUARDIAN

"Glory lies ahead" - TIME OUT

DANNY BUCKLER

Danny Buckler is fast establishing himself as one of the most popular
performers in showbiz with a unique style that combines stand-up comedy, improvisation, story-telling, audience participation and the odd bit of magic.

The past few years has seen Danny travel the world entertaining the troops in Bosnia, Belfast, The Falkland Islands and Diego Garcia. He was also invited to support Victoria Wood on her national tour, which led to Danny being asked to participate in the show 'Victoria Wood and Friends' at the swanky Adelphi Theatre alongside Victoria and Imelda Staunton.

2003 also saw Danny make his Edinburgh Festival debut at the prestigious Edinburgh Assembly Rooms in an extremely successful double-hander with fellow magician, Mandy Muden. Danny is a much sought after TV warm-up artist, having worked on various shows including the BBC series 'Dead Ringers' and 'Dinner Ladies' among others.

"It's time we saw him on TV" - LBC RADIO

"He stole the show with his excellent impersonations and improvisations" THREE WEEKS

"Puts Houdini to shame" - DAILY MAIL

"An endearing air of parodic grandeur" - METRO

BEN NORRIS

Ben is a highly experienced and hugely well respected stand-up. He’s been performing comedy since 1993 and has developed an incredibly relaxed stage persona with an innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material.

He has performed at comedy festivals the world over and has a wealth of experience in the tricky art of TV warm-up. More recently, Ben – who is the cousin of actor Martin Freeman (The Office, and soon to be filmed The Hobbit) has excelled at presenting many high profile corporate events and award ceremonies.

You may have heard Ben’s voice on campaigns for Carling and Emirates, amongst others.

Ben's TV credits include:

“The Comedy Store (Open mike)

“Never mind the Buzzcocks (BBC 2)

“They think it’s all over (BBC 2)

“Mock the week (BBC 2)

"...an acerbic attitude, a well-stocked arsenal of sharp lines and the wherewithal to work any crowd make Norris one of the more engaging and enjoyable comics on the circuit" - CHORTLE

"...one of the comedy circuits best improvisers" - DAILY MIRROR

MC CRAIG MURRAY

For the past two years Craig has cut his comedy teeth as resident compere at award-winning London club 'The Funny Side...of Covent Garden'. He has rapidly become a master of the compere's art too; able to turn any crowd from a lacklustre mob into a clapping, cheering, delirious audience ready to laugh all night.

Having honed his talents as an MC introducing others, he's now bringing his impressive stage presence and flair for audience banter to his very own stand-up set.

Doors open at 7.30pm with draught products on a special promotion at £2 a pint throughout the night. The comedy starts at 8.30pm.

Admission is £11 on the door, £10 in advance or £9 to Woking FC supporters and those on the Comedy mailing list. Students and OAPs are £5.
