Woking Football Club have signed a deal with Errea to be the new kit supplier for the next three seasons.
Errea are an Italian technical sportswear manufacturer who have been associated with professional clubs playing in Europe's most renowned leagues, Serie A in Italy, La Liga in Spain and the English Premiership. They are at the cutting edge of research into new fabrics and manufacturing techniques . .
The deal will also see Andreas Carter Sports and SHO Limited come on board as commercial partners and take charge of the club’s retail merchandising arm both at the two shops on site and via the on-line website shop.
Woking Commercial Manager Dave Riche said: “This is an exciting development as we look to providing value, quality and variety for our fans and commercial partners.
"After receiving several very good offers from a variety of suppliers, we have opted for the workmanship, enthusiasm and professionalism of Errea which is brought to us via this commercial partnership.
"The supporters wear our colours with pride home and away and after reviewing all of the options, the board agreed unanimously to support this proposal."
The home kit will be red and white halves, while the away kit will be predominantly yellow with a blue flash on the chest and the side. There will be no third kit, although Woking FC will be supplied with blue shorts for a third option incase of any potential clashes.
The deal will see Errea supply playing and training kit for the first team. The partnership will provide Woking with security going forward, with the new home and away designs on track to be in stock and available for pre-season. The agreement will see the club shops franchised out with Woking FC receiving both a licence fee and a share of any turnover from all shop sales.
On completing this agreement, Jerry Carter of Andreas Carter Sports said: “We are proud to be associated with such a historic and well regarded club and we are looking forward to building a relationship that, we hope, will take us well beyond the initial three year agreement."
Riche added: “The retail operation has been outsourced but will be managed by our existing staff, although there is room in the agreement for this to be developed if demand requires. There will be a transitional period and a sale of old stock will begin straight away with some excellent bargain to be had!
“New stock will begin to come into the club over the next couple of weeks and the plan is to be selling new items from the game with Bishops Stortford on April 16th – for the end of season run-in and hopefully the play-offs.�
A sale on all existing stock in the club shop will begin tomorrow so go and pick yourselves up some bargains. They are also available at the club’s on line shop.
