On Easter Monday Kingfield is expecting a bumper crowd as the Cards press for promotion. It is also a major opportunity where you can join or increase your commitment to the BtB scheme where fans donate from £10 a month to add directly to the playing budget. This has contributed over £2000 a month and we are aiming for 50 new BtB members and 50 people to increase their commitment as a preparation for further success next season. However there is MORE....!

On Monday we will be having a ‘Big Bucket’ collection where every single pound given will be doubled by the Cards Trust (up to a maximum total of £2000) for Boost the Budget. So if you give £1 it becomes £2, £5 becomes £10 and £25 becomes £50! If we as supporters contribute £2000 we will therefore have raised an additional £4000 towards next season in just 2 hours.
Garry Hill commented today ‘Woking fans have shown terrific commitment to Steve Thompson, the players and myself all season and helped us get the sort of quality players we want. ‘Boost the Budget’ has made a big difference and shows we are all pulling in the same direction to get Woking back to where it needs to be. We know times are hard but are really grateful for your support. Please support ‘Boost the Budget’ in any way you can and we will put it to good use.’
Rosemary Johnson, the chair of the Cards Trust added ‘Considering it has only been operating one season ‘Boost the Budget’ has been a great success. As well as the help given to Garry it has also meant fans are now the second biggest shareholder and playing an increasingly important part in our club. If you are donating regularly we want to extend a big ‘thank you’ and to also ask others to consider joining if they are able. Well done to everyone’

Another bonus for Garry!
The ‘Boost the Budget’ draw was made after Saturday’s game against Thurrock by Steve Thompson’s son, Jamie. The name drawn out of the hat was a certain Mr G. Hill! This might sound suspicious but was in fact all above board. As we are guessing (?) that Garry will already be going to the end of season dinner we are instead giving him a case of fine wine – courtesy of Mr P. Jordan. Well done Garry and thank you Peter.
