The inaugural Woking Football Club Beer Festival is only a week away! Come down to Kingfield and continue the title winning celebrations on Friday 18th & Saturday 19th May in a relaxed atmosphere.
There will be live music on the Friday with the previously announced
Hannah Dorman being joined by fellow singer/songwriter
Aimee Gould. Aimee is a bubbly 18 year old from Hampshire. Her music takes influences from Lucy Rose, Laura Marling, Ellie Goulding and Corinne Bailey Rae and appeals to a wide audience as her songs are very relaxing, relatable and easy to listen to.
On the Saturday we will be showing the
Champions League Final between
Bayern Munich & Chelsea live on the big screen in the Cardinals' Bar. A selection of classic Woking FC matches will be shown during the day, look out for further announcements about which games these will be.
Beers are from a range of suppliers from microbreweries such as Vale and Tring, to more established brands such as Loddon, Exmoor, Hooky and Oakham, plus one or two more well known names such as Fullers and Adnams. A full beer list will be published early next week. Tasting notes will be provided.
Burgers & Sausages from the barbecue will be available on both days.
Gates open at 6pm on the Friday and 1pm on the Saturday. Tickets cost £6 per session or £5 for Cards Trust Members / Season Ticket Holders. They can be purchased from the club shop during opening hours, or online from The Cards Trust website -
Woking Beer Festival.
Volunteers are still needed to help out, particularly on Saturday. If you can spare a few hours, it would be much appreciated. Please see this form for more details.
