Cards Trust To Launch New Initiative On Saturday

Peter Holdsworth - 4th March 2014

Cards Trust To Launch New Initiative On Saturday At Saturday's home game against Southport the Cards Trust will be launching their new initiative “FANS MATTER”. The Trust wants to increase membership in order that it can better represent the views of all supporters, hopefully draw on a wider pool of Trust members who can provide further support to the Club in a variety of ways and get more supporters actively involved in the Trust and Football Club.

Leaflets will be available explaining the project and asking those who are not members to consider joining the Trust. Your £10 membership fee will cover the remainder of this and all of next season (2014/15).

Membership of the Trust provides a number of advantages that include discounted travel on the supporters coach to away games, discounts in the Club Shop, Striker Bites, the Snooker Club and Unity Motor Spares.

The Trust is currently looking to extend the number and range of available discounts for its members. Trust members will also be given opportunities in future such as presenting Player of the Month awards on the pitch.

For those unable to get to Kingfield on Saturday you can join the Trust via the Trust website (www.cardstrust.co.uk) and making use of PayPal.

If you’re already a member you can help by persuading friends to join - for each new member you introduce you’ll have an entry into a prize draw for a free season ticket for next season.

The Trust will also be using the opportunity on Saturday to carry out a bucket collection for ‘Boost the Budget’. Please do all you can to support this key initiative that helps us contribute to Garry’s playing budget.

There’s more information available about FANS MATTER on the Trust website (www.cardstrust.co.uk) and in Saturday's match day programme.
