Woking Football Club can confirm that mutual agreement has been reached with Aaron Howe for the termination of his contract with immediate effect. Aaron came through the Woking Academy system, and has been our first choice keeper for the past four seasons. He leaves with our best wishes for his future.
Aaron has issued the following statement: "This is a sad day for me, but after battling against so many injuries during the past two years, I feel the time is right to take a break from football, and let my body fully recover. I cannot express enough how highly regarded this fantastic football club is to myself and my family. The friendships I have made will last forever."
Manager Garry Hill commented: "Aaron has been a true professional in every sense of the word, he has been brilliant for me. He has suffered so many injuries, and I know that this has been on his mind for some time."
