The Big Push

Ian Nicholson - 24th December 2014

The Big Push Christmas and New Year bucket collections

As we enter the Christmas period Woking are in a great position – 5th in the table and still in the FA Trophy. As Geoff Chapple says in the Aldershot programme it is our best opportunity ever to push for the play offs and perhaps even make a Wembley final!

The squad have worked wonders and we will be expecting the management and players to giving 100% in the coming months; with the occasional blip, we are sure we won't be disappointed.

As fans we also want to do our bit and this is why the Cards Trust has set a target to raise a further £5000 in the coming weeks to help Garry strengthen the playing squad in the January window.

We will therefore have bucket collections at the Aldershot game and against Eastleigh on New Years Day. Everything contribute will be allocated 100% to Boost the playing budget. We know it is an expensive time of year but please give as generously as you are able - even if everyone put £1 in the buckets we would raise several thousand pounds towards the target

In addition if you are not yet a Boost the Budget supporter or are in a position to increase a little please complete a form in the club shop to become a regular supporter. The next draw for Boost the Budget contributors will take place on December 28th and the prize will be 2 places in the hospitality lounge in the New Year.

Have a great Christmas and see you on Sunday. Thank you everybody - COYC!
