Woking Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Matt Tubbs on a one-month loan deal from Forest Green Rovers.

Matt, 32, is a striker who made nearly 250 league appearances for Salisbury City, scoring over 100 goals, before joining Crawley Town in 2010. He won promotion to the Football League in his first season at Crawley, scoring 40 goals in 48 appearances. In his second season at the club he was the top scorer in League Two until he made a move to Bournemouth in the January transfer window. He scored on his debut for Bournemouth, but missed most of the rest of the season following an injury. Loan moves to Rotherham United, Crawley Town, and AFC Wimbledon followed, before he signed for Portsmouth in January 2015.

He made 39 league appearances for Portsmouth, scoring 14 goals, before joining Eastleigh on loan for the second-half of last season. In July he joined Forest Green Rovers on a one-year deal.

We welcome Matt to the club.
