The Football in the Community scheme is an independent group with its own steering committee meeting four times a year, made up of representatives from Woking Football Club, Woking Borough Council, Local Police, Sheerwater Maybury Partnership, WASPS (Woking Association for Primary Schools), Woking & District Secondary Schools Sports Council, Local Health Authority and Surrey FA.
The scheme received the highest accolade by being voted England?s Non League Community Scheme of 2004/05.

- Healthy Lifestyle Talks In Schools
- Healthy Living Programme for MIND
- Work Experience Students
- Community Against Racism Tournaments
- Community Football Tournament
- Charter Standard
- Ground Tours and Meet the Players Days
- Playing For Success Scheme for Under-Achieving Children
