Woking Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Jamie Philpot on loan from Millwall until January.

Jamie, 20, is a striker who’s been with Millwall since the age of 8, making his Championship debut at the end of the 2014/15 season as a substitute away to Wolverhampton Wanderers, scoring in less than two minutes but was unfortunately taken off a few minutes later with an injury. He had a short loan spell at Bromley last season in the Vanarama National League, and played the second half of the Cards’ friendly against Watford this season.

Anthony Limbrick on signing Jamie on loan: “Jamie was with us at the start of pre-season and impressed us during that time, but was then recalled to the first team at Millwall. Once he became available again we knew he would be the right fit for us with his clever movement in and around the box.

Jamie commented: “My strengths as a player are scoring goals, linking up well, hard work, and pressing. I think I can bring that to the team as well, the pressing side, and once one person scores it makes it a lot easier for everyone else to score as there’s less pressure.

We welcome Jamie to the club!
