On Friday 26th May Woking Music Club presents the first in what is planned to be a series on live music events at Woking Football Club, the opening night will feature a Country / Americana acts with three of the best emerging artists in their field for what promises to be a top class night of live music.

The success of Katy Hurt’s last single “Part Time Girlfriend”, which reached the Top 20 in iTunes’ Worldwide Country Chart back in November last year, pre-empted a whirlwind of events that have elevated her profile in the world of country music. Katy graduated from ACM’s Songwriting & Artist Development program and became their first ever student to be signed up by Metropolis Music Publishing, the trailblazing independent music publisher. Their award-winning team has been instrumental in the production and release of her first iTunes number 1single “Love You More”. Katy has performed live at many high profile events, including Henley Festival; both CarFest events; FSA Festival and the Buckles & Boots Festival in Nottingham. Most recently she completed her inaugural UK tour and then became the first country artist ever to be invited to perform at the legendary Jazz Café in London. In the same weekend Katy performed at the 2016 British Country Music Awards and C2C at the O2 , London in March.

Support on the night comes from newly formed Fearless Hearts featuring members of vocal harmony group The Willow Band and talented singer songwriter Rebecca Jayne. Join us for this great new venture which will bring the best in live music to Woking.
