Your wedding day doesn’t have to be as expensive as everyone thinks and at Woking Football Club we want to help you tie the knot and still have money to help you plan for the rest of your lives.

We have designed a package that gives you room hire, food and a DJ for 100 people for an all inclusive fee. If you wish to add extras then we are happy to oblige, and we guarantee your day is one you’ll never forget.

Wedding Day Etiquette

When you & your husband arrive it is traditional to form a receiving line for the guests to enter the reception room & collect a drink, then the wedding party are announced into the room and take their seats for the Wedding Breakfast. Before you eat, the best man makes a toast to the happy couple & if you have invited a minister or priest he should say grace before your meal.

After dinner, it is time for the speeches the best man is always the first, followed by the bride’s parents, groom’s parents & then the groom. All of this is up to you as you may want other people to say a few words or may not want other people making speeches.

After these formalities it is time for the first dance, usually an hour after this you can cut the cake & then it is time to enjoy the rest of your day!
