25. Sam Ashford

On loan from Crawley Town

Versatile forward player Sam, who can play out wide or through the middle as a central striker, joined the Cards on loan until the end of the season in March 2021. He moved to Woking from Crawley Town, who he joined last summer, but where he has found opportunities relatively limited due to a couple of minor injuries. He made 13 appearances for the club in the total, predominately from the bench, but did score on his debut in the EFL Cup defeat to Millwall. The former England C international previously enjoyed a strong non-league career, which included profitable spells at the likes of Stanstead and Witham Town, before he caught the eye with 14 goals in 35 games for Hemel Hempstead Town last season.
