Can you help? Woking Football Club are looking to establish a "History Room" at the Club for fans, both young and old, to enjoy. Please read on to see how you can be involved...

Woking FC is a fantastic club with a vast and illustrious history spanning well over 100 years. We have had some incredible highlights and memorable low points. Moments of joy, exasperation, disappointment and success have been shared amongst our resilient fans and favourite players.

As a club we are moving forward, onwards and upwards. But it is important we don?t lose sight of our roots and our history. It put us on the football map and is responsible for us being one of the best non-league clubs there has ever been.

As fans of the club, we want to be able to celebrate this fact and what better way to do this than to establish a living memory of this for all those who come to our great club: visitors, opposing guests, fans, old and new.

We are looking to develop our members' bar into a ?History Room? of Woking FC, displaying memorabilia of the club, player profiles, fans' memories, classic match reports, trophies and a large amount of photos. Anything and everything Woking.

It is also in here next season where fans, young and old, will get the chance to meet their present and past heroes after every game at the Players' Signing Table, to include a current player and one from our great history for you to meet, greet and get shirts and memorabilia autographed.

To put this on display we will require your help. It is the fans who have shaped this club and made it what it is today. This is an open call for anyone that can and would like to help this project. We are looking for fans to write classic player profiles, to donate any memorabilia or unforgettable photos from our history, or to spare their time to help us design, decorate and fill the room.

The Cardinal History Room will be something to be proud of and to share our incredible past with everyone. If you can help in any way, or think that you would like to help, but are unsure how, please email me at richardtaylor@wokingfc.co.uk or call the club and leave a message for me and I will get back to you very soon.

Thank you.
