With no football on show at Kingfield at this time, there are still many things happening.
The Pitch has been taken up, levelled and new grass sown and at this moment in time is looking very good.
The Leslie Gosden Stand is having all the seats steam cleaned which will take 5 days to complete and some areas of the ground are being tidied up and painted.
Andy Morgan in the Commercial Department is working hard to pull together the areas of Sponsorship be it Main Shirt, Match Day or the many income streams for the coming Season a football club look too.
The Community Football Scheme with new Director Jane Spong and Community coach Chris Sexton are getting ready for their every popular Summer Soccer Camps which have become such an important part of the schemes programme. They are busy focusing their efforts on investigating different streams of funding to sustain the scheme for the future as well as introducing new schools and groups into their already large network..
The Football side still goes on with Managers, be it the First Team or Youths looking to the coming Season, their respective squads and how they can build on the previous one.
Jennifer and Hazel in the club shop are busy dealing with season ticket requests with numbers this year already in advance of last years.
There is a lot to be done behind the scenes and many people working hard for that positive start wanted by all Football Clubs at the beginning of a new campaign.
