The Cards lost their crucial relegation battle against the Whites this evening. Phil Gilchrist?s side started brightly and things were fairly even till about midway through the first half. The home side then took a grip of the midfield and put the Cards? defence under considerable pressure till half-time.
Three minutes after the break El Kholti was sent off after a ?last man? trip on Ademeno just outside the area. From the resulting free-kick ex-Card Charlie Griffin steered his shot round the wall to put the Whites 1-0 up.
Woking barely mounted an attack of note after that, whilst the Whites passed up several opportunities to make the game completely safe.
