Injuries Update from Andy Cook

I spoke this afternoon with Andy Cook, who gave me an update on our lengthy injury list.

Danny Bunce and Joe Magunda remain long term absentees with metatarsal fractures. Danny is now walking without his ?boot?and is pain-free walking. Joe is still in some discomfort, though improving. Tom Hutchinson is occasionally training with the squad, interspersed with rest. His knee is strengthening and improving. He could be back to full training within the next two weeks.

Delano Sam-Yorke?s shin splints are improving but very slowly, which is proving frustrating for Delano. He is being careful not to do anything to aggravate his condition and is undergoing a longer than initially anticipated period of ?active rest?.

Bradley Quamina is walking pain-free and improving. His injury is to his hip flexor and Andy is fairly optimistic that he is 10 ? 14 days away from fitness.

Goma Lambu is not in contention for a place in tomorrow?s squad due to his groin injury, though he is back to running at full pace and should be available soon.

Finally, Colin Miles and Rob Elvins both trained this morning and a decision will be taken tomorrow whether they are able to be included in the squad for the game at Stevenage.

My thanks to Andy for keeping us informed about the injured players? progress.
