David Holmes spoke to a delighted Graham Baker after the game.

David asked him firstly, if that was that the 'Baker effect'?  "No" , replied Graham, "it was Woking's players effect.  You have just seen ten heroes.  If they can perform like that with ten men in the second-half, then we have to ask ourselves why we haven't been doing this all season?  We will have to address this problem of being more consistent if we stay in this league."  David asked him next about Colin Miles sending off.   He contended it was the wrong player adding, " there was a tangle of legs with, I think, Paul Lorraine.  The referee waved play-on, then listened to his assistant and made a decision to send the wrong player off."  On making Paul Lorraine captain, Graham said," it was only because Colin Miles had been out of the team for a couple of weeks.  We made a decision to recall him now that he's fit - it's not fair on Dan Sintim to start these big games - even though he's done brilliantly.  This is a time for experience, and it was a shame Colin was sent-off, because at the time, he was magnificent."

David also caught up with a very relieved chairman, David Taylor, who had this to say.  " I think what Graham has done with the players in a very short period of time is quite remarkable.  I know he spent three hours on the coach sitting with them talking about the Kidderminster game.  I've seen him talking with the players and seen their heads go up.  This was a tough game here today.  Barrow are a strong proposition at home.  There are always surprises in football and with us being down to ten men, I'd have taken a draw.  Then Liam goes and does that!  Some of the results haven't gone our way but we've got a win at last and now we have to focus on the next game at Northwich.  We won't be counting our chickens - there's a long way to go - but three points is a great result today. "

Finally, the Board, the players and the management all want to thank the many fans who travelled up to Barrow today for their magnificent support.  Thank you, to each and every one of you, who were there today, it was and is hugely appreciated by everyone at the club.
