Cards complete seven point holiday haul

Graham Baker’s side made it seven points out of nine in the holiday games with this ultimately comfortable win over the Hawks.

The Cards took the lead through Matthew Wright in the first half and should have been two or three up by the time the Hawks gained a penalty as the result of Tom Hutchinson’s handball. Fortunately for Woking, Luke Nightingale blazed horribly over the bar.

Gez Sole (pictured, voted ‘man of the match’) made the game safe for the Cards in the second half after he nodded home from close range after Aaron Howe – who had another impressive afternoon – had done well to palm out Moses Ademola’s volley.

A full report will follow.
