Woking Academy players Ollie Palmer, Ola Sogbanmu and Matt Pegler were selected for the ECFA England Squad that participated in an International tournament in Italy this week.
In their first group match England beat UAE 1-0 with Ollie Palmer scoring the winning goal, in their second match Ola Sogbanmu scored to give England a 1-0 victory over Romania. England went on to win their third and final group match 1-0 against Slovenia to progress to the final against Italy.
The Final was a close and competitive match however it was Italy that came out on top winning the game 2-0.
Congratulations must go to all three Woking lads for their inclusion in the England squad for this prestigious tournament.
