Early Ryman Youth Cup Exit
Kingstonian 3 Woking 1
Ryman Youth League Cup 1st Round
Thursday 4th November 2010
Woking had an early chance to take the lead after 5 minutes, Adam Bellmaine forcing a top corner save from 35 yards out, but it was the home side who took the lead at Merland Rise, Ellis scoring a penalty in the 13th minute after captain Josh Frost-Niven had committed a foul in the area.
George Frith had the Kingstonian keeper diving to his right a few minutes later to produce another fine save, and in the 24th minute the Cards had their equaliser - Shane Cheeseman crossing in from the right after good work from Joe Reay and Frith, and the ball was turned into the K's net by one of their own defenders.
Kingstonian restored their lead in the 32nd minute, Rose-Hazel hitting the post from the edge of the area and the ball spun back across the line before the Woking defence could get back to clear.
With 5 minutes remaining Kingstonian added a 3rd to put the game beyond the cup holders, Rose-Hazel turning in the box and volleying into the back of the net for the best goal of the evening.
