The Cards’ 2-1 win over Hampton and Richmond Borough last night lifted them to 4th place in the table. Moses Ademola (pictured) gave the Cards the lead on the half-hour mark. Some lovely football threatened a second goal but Hampton shocked home fans by equalising early in the second half. Woking responded by besieging the Hampton goal and the winner came with a superb 30-yard effort from ‘man of the match’ Mark Ricketts in the 72nd minute..
Last night’s victory made it 10 wins and one draw in Woking’s last eleven league games.
Full report to follow.
Don’t forget that the Cards are at home again this Saturday when Bromley are the visitors.
