The Cards have slipped to 5th place in the table following last night’s games involving other play-off contenders. But they have a game in hand on fourth-placed Chelmsford City, who are level on points but with a superior goal difference.
Farnborough consolidated second place in the table with a comfortable 3-0 away win over Maidenhead United, but none of the other sides won. Dover Athletic lost 1-0 at Staines Town. Welling United and Ebbsfleet United battled out a 1-1 draw and Chelmsford City conceded two late goals in their 2-2 draw at Bishop’s Stortford.
Leaders Braintree Town are away at Lewes this evening.
On Saturday the Cards travel to Eastleigh, who lie five points behind the Cards with two games in hand.
