We have signed some great new talent to add to
the list of existing second and third year boys and we will now
have over 80 boys in the system playing five games a week.
Whilst there will be exceptions in general
our objective will be to play our 16 year old lads at u18, the
17 year olds at u19 with the 18/19 year olds being thrown into adult
football, that said if any of our 1st year boys are ready for adult
football then they will be given that opportunity.
Pre-season training has been going extremely
well and the boys are looking good in their new kits thanks to Peter
Jordan and Calor Gas.
In the pre-season friendlies the boys have
acquitted themselves well, the most high profile matches being two
games against the Fulham Academy where the younger lads lost 4-0, whilst the
older lads secured a well deserved 2-1 victory.
