Woking v Merstham
Surrey Senior Cup 2nd Round
7.45pm on Tuesday 15 November 2011

The Cards begin their Surrey Senior Cup campaign on Tuesday evening with the visit of Merstham. With Woking having had a blank weekend, Garry Hill is expected to field a strong side. The winners of this tie will be away in the next round to the winners of the Ash United v Crystal Palace tie.

WOKING

Last week’s reserve game against Tonbridge Angels saw the appearance of Joe McNerney, Derek Duncan and Gez Sole amongst others and it seems likely that, once again, we will see some first teamers on display as Garry attempts to keep everyone on their toes for the Cards’ testing trip to Dover Athletic next Saturday.

MERSTHAM

The Moatsiders lie in mid-table in the Ryman League Division One South. On Saturday they lost 2-0 at Walton Casuals. One well-known member of their squad is leading scorer, Roscoe D’Sane, formerly with Aldershot and AFC Wimbledon. Other squad members include Gareth Graham and former Sutton striker Harry Ottaway.

Come on, you Cards!

P.S. Don’t forget that the Cards’ next home league game is on Tuesday 22 November when Chelmsford City, unbeaten away in the league this season, are the visitors.
