Suggestions of people to receive hampers?
The Woking Christmas appeal this year includes taking Christmas hampers people in the community – particularly the elderly who are living alone or in particular need.
If any fans would like to recommend anyone to receive a hamper please email iannicholson@matrixtrust.com. Please don’t mention to the possible recipient; however last year we were able to help everyone we were given contact details for. Foodstuffs and new toys (for the wards) can be left in the boxes in the club shop during the next 2 weeks.
As has been mentioned the first team squad are also visiting two children's wards and a children’s hospice in the week before Christmas. There will be bucket collections at the Eastleigh and Sutton games to raise funds for items for the hospitals.
- A few volunteers for the bucket collections are still needed for each game and Eastleigh is only 2 days away – if you can help please email me or ring/text on 07976351891
- Please be nice, friendly and generous to the bucket holders on Saturday
