Woking Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Keiran Murtagh on loan from Cambridge United until the end of the season.
We are sure Woking fans will be thrilled with this signing, Keiran was integral to our push for the play-offs last season. He will be in the squad for the New Year's Day clash at local rivals Farnborough.
Keiran Murtagh joined the Cards on loan at the end of January this year, making his debut in a 1 - 0 win at home to Thurrock. He made 13 appearances for the club, scoring 5 goals, before being recalled by Wycombe Wanderers at the end of March. He joined Cambridge United during the Summer, making 9 appearances for the U's.
Keiran started his career as a youth player at Charlton Athletic before moving to Fisher Athletic in 2007, he joined Yeovil Town the year after and made over 50 appearances for the Glovers. He has also represented the Antigua & Barbuda national team 5 times and scored in their 10 - 0 World Cup Qualifying victory over the US Virgin Islands in October.
