Woking News & Mail editor Andy Stonebridge said: "It was an ambitious undertaking to turn a 32-page publication round in just a couple of days - on top of working on the next edtion of the newspaper.

"But we felt it was the right thing to do to celebrate what has been a fantastic season for manager Garry Hill, his players and every Cards supporter.

"I would personally like to congratulate my small, but dedicated, team who didn't flinch when I announced the project.

"In particular I would like to thank our sports editor Tom Oxtoby who worked through Saturday night writing up many player interviews and stories to enable the subs to hit the ground running.

"I would also like to thank Steve Judge and Rachel Saker for working extra hours to help produce a quality publication and all the advertisers who supported the project.
"Of course none of it would be possible had it not been for Garry Hill and his wonderful team who have given the town so much to shout about this season."
