Gez wins another Blue Square Player of the Month award!

Woking Football Club are delighted to announce that Giuseppe Sole has won the Blue Square Bet South 'Player of the Month' award for April, making it two PotM awards in a row for the striker!
Gez continued his remarkable scoring run with 2 goals against Basingstoke Town at the start of the month, and then equalled the club record for scoring in consecutive games with an 83rd minute winner against Tonbridge Angels.
The record was made his own in the game at Maidenhead United when he followed up his uncharacteristic penalty-miss to score the goal that gave the Cards the Blue Square Bet South title.
Two further goals in the games against Truro City and Chelmsford City took the tally to 6 for the month, and made the scoring record 15 goals in 11 consecutive games.
Everyone at the Club would like to send their congratulations to Gez for another very well deserved award.
