Woking Football Club are delighted to have been asked to provide the ball boys for this year’s Promotion Final between Wrexham and Newport County at Wembley Stadium.
All of the ball boys are local Woking residents who started playing with Woking FC through its fantastic links in the community. This includes participating at After School Clubs provided to schools and on Holiday Courses. All of the boys are extremely excited to be so close to the match action, in what is a very important game for both sides.
The majority of the team will next season play within the highly regarded Woking Academy. All of the players will have an opportunity to carry out Work Experience at the club which could lead to potential paid work opportunities.
Woking FC would like to thank the Football Conference for the opportunity given to the boys on Sunday and would further like to thank the Football Conference Trust for their continued support of our community activities.
