The Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich will be shown live on the big screen at the Woking Football Club Beer Festival.
The Cards Trust is delighted to be holding another Beer Festival in Woking following last year's successful event. The festival will take place on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th May at Woking Football Club.
Sessions are from 6pm on the Friday and from 1pm on the Saturday. Over 20 real ales and ciders will be available, as will hot food. All beers and ciders will be priced at £3 a pint.
The highly anticipated all-German Champions League final will kick off at 7.45pm on the Saturday at Wembley Stadium, and what better way to experience it than by trying a range of real ales and ciders whilst viewing the match on the big screen in the Cardinals' Bar!
We are also delighted to welcome back by popular demand singer songwriter Hannah Dorman on the Friday, who delivered a superb set at last year's festival.
"Chatty, relaxed and exciting, this upcoming British Country Rock singer songwriter brings class and elegance to the stage with her hard rocking country music. Her acoustic roots can be heard floating through, drawing you in with catchy rhythms and melodies, driven by a rocking rhythm section. Think KT Tunstall, long legs, wild hair and a dusting of country.
Her inspiration and eclectic influences are not obvious but there is an underlying resonance in her music – as well as KT Tunstall, Anastasia, Shania Twain, Pretty Reckless and Kelly Clarkson all have their place. Lyrically fresh, honest and relevant, Hannah Dorman uncompromisingly delivers her songs with vocals that drift between breathy emotion and raw vocal power."
The list of beers and ciders available, along with tasting notes, will be announced soon.
Tickets are available, to over 18s only, from the Club Shop at the ground or online via www.cardstrust.co.uk. All tickets cost £5, this includes the first pint free for Woking Football Club Season Ticket Holders, Shareholders and Cards Trust Members (on production of proof and one free pint only per person).
