Ryman Youth League
28th August 2013
The young cards put in an entertaining display against Hampton & Richmond at
Kingfield recording another 5-1 victory. There were two goals for Anderson and one
for Henry. The pass and move culture of the first half was a joy to watch.
They ended the half with a 3-0 advantage moving the ball forward from back to front with pace. The visitors were reduced to the odd break as the cards kept the ball very well.
A change of shape in the second half to 4-4-2 saw less incisive passing and the visitors having a greater share of the ball. They got a goal back and then came close to a second as a save and block kept them out. Straight from this Woking got a fourth through Anderson, giving him a well deserved hat trick.
The fifth came from a penalty after a harsh hand ball decision and red card.
The post was also hit four times and there were two goal line clearances.
