The Laithwaite Community Stadium will be full of Christmas cheer on Wednesday 16th as Woking FC host the Cards Community Christmas.

From 5.30pm those attending will meet Santa and KC Kat with school choirs performing and a Hog Roast, mulled wine and beat the goalie as an added attraction. The club will also be welcoming a record breaking Premiership goalkeeper and 5 time world record freestyler as an estimated 1000 people gather.

Crystal Palace legend Julian Speroni, who is the Eagles most capped keeper and 4 times player of the year, will be interviewed about his career, highs and lows while freestyler Dan Cutting, a Kingfield favourite who has stood in for Kaka and many others will put on a display of his world record skills.

In addition local actor Chris Hawes will perform an especially written short nativity and the Unity Band will lead rousing renditions of favourite carols. Every young person attending will receive a free ticket to a Woking game in the New Year.

The Cards Community Christmas is free entry, for all ages and builds on Silent Night in 2014 when 1000 gathered to remember the Christmas truce of 1914.

Doors open at 5.30pm while the carol celebration commences at 7pm.
